Natalia Temesgen is a playwright, TV writer/producer, TedX speaker and Associate Professor of Creative Writing at Columbus State University. Her plays have been produced in in major cities across the country. She has written TV episodes for "Dear White People" (Netflix), "Julia" (Max), and "Reasonable Doubt" (Hulu). 

Natalia is a graduate of the WGAEast's Showrunner Training Academy and a 2024 Inevitable Foundation x Loreen Arbus grant recipient. In January, she delivered an empowering TedX talk entitled, "The Joy of NOT Getting What You Want."

Natalia's play for young audiences, "Look Forward: The Ruby Bridges Story," has been produced in Pittsburgh, Jackson, TN, and Columbus, GA over the past three years to much acclaim.

She lives in Georgia with her husband, two children and two dogs.
